Property / Boundary Disputes
There are unfortunate times that neighbors fall into a dispute with different opinions as to where the true property/deed line lies. The only way to be certain as to where the true line exist is to retain the services of a competent, professional land surveyor. The surveyor's responsibilities would be to review all the maps and deeds on the land records and whatever other information they can obtain. The firm would then encompass a large area of the neighborhood evaluating various markers and field evidence. Once all this is done, a comparison of the record information is done against the field evidence and a boundary determination is then made. The surveyor then returns to set markers along the property. In some instances, this can result in a hostile situation between neighbors. We always do our best to try and keep peace between the associated parties and if possible resolve the conflict. In rare instances, this is not successful and further legal action then becomes needed.
